6. Opt for a unique glamping experience at Ranoh Island

We’ve heard of glamping experiences in Bali but little did we know that Batam has them too! If you’re looking for unique accommodation in Batam but not quite ready for some die-hard camping and all of its rough stuff, we’d highly recommend you to give glamping a go.

And what better way to experience it than on a hidden pristine island? Located south of mainland Batam, Ranoh Island is where you can experience barefoot luxury away from technology, noise, stress, demands and obligations.

Photo Via Snnngorious, Craziben

The island is also near Pulau Abang – a famed spot for snorkellers as it uncovers a magical underwater world. The entire journey from Singapore to Ranoh Island will take you approximately 4 hours (including all ferry and boat transfers as well as customs in Batam).

There are tons of activities at Ranoh Island so that is why we’d recommend you to stay overnight rather than drop by for only a day trip. Besides snorkelling, you’ll also have access to other water-activities like kayaking and banana boat as well as their exciting giant waterpark that sits smack-bang in the ocean!

TripCanvas Tip: We’d recommend you to opt for a SIM card from Klook as there’s no Wi-fi available on the island!
