Burangrang is is the biggest cafe at Dusun Bambu. It’s located among the taller hills at the resort, which gives customers a clear view of the Burangrang mountain (hence the name!).

16. Hummingbird heartbeat
True to its name, every aspect of Hummingbird cafe is dedicated to make you feel like a free, exquisite bird.
Let’s start with the outside, which has a giant bird cage-like exterior.
The interior decoration is homey, with cosy wooden furniture and artistic hummingbird prints painted all over the walls.
But don’t worry, you won’t be served bird food.
You can order from a birdy-themed menu with fancy hummingbird names for crepes and drinks.
In fact, the cafe is famous for its galette variations, including this popular Lucifer Galette with beef, sunny side up, mustard, and onion jam.

One of the newest unique themed restaurants in the block in Bandung (though it already has many branches in other Indonesian cities), the interior of Nanny Pavillon is a sweet eye candy with its pretty furniture and cute interior.
Here, you can choose which ‘room’ you want to dine in – be it the Dining Room, Bedroom, Garden, Playroom, or even the Bathroom (yes, and your seats are toilet seats)!
As the concept stems from the owner’s belief in family gatherings and cosy treats, you will expect nothing but amicable service here, making you feel right at home.
Nanny Pavillon is also best-known for serving delicious French American pancakes. Highly rated are the peach pancake with vanilla ice cream and blueberry pancake cheese roll.

Stepping in to Warung Suluh is like stepping out of a time machine. Not to a scary pre-historic era or a futuristic future, but to a time that’s just right for nostalgia.
Here, the interior is cosy and traditional, decorated by old pictures, old comics, vintage posters and furniture.
This place cherishes original and Javanese nuances, and all of your senses will be engaged.
While you dig in to traditional food, Javanese ‘keroncong’ songs are played in the background, a perfect match to create the right ambience.
Try the mysterious Nasi Pendem, which is served with chicken and boiled egg, hidden beneath the tempting brightly-coloured yellow rice.

This restaurant offers more than just a breathtaking view as the coolest rooftop cafe-bar in Bandung.

Lawangwangi gives you a whole new perspective on capturing Bandung’s beauty – from a sophisticated deck.
Originally an art gallery, this place sums up to a piece of art in itself, with incredible creative bits you can enjoy one by one, when the mountain view from the all-glass interior doesn’t distract you.
The first floor of this gallery and restaurant serves as an exhibition space, gallery, and craft shop. They do have special exhibitions at times, so do check the schedule if you fancy artistic dining amidst the beautiful scenery of Bandung.
The food is also a work of art with thoughtful details in the display, like this picturesque Nasi Goreng Risotto, a traditional-Western fusion food with creamy mozzarella and tortilla.

This restaurant was originally a woodcraft gallery too incredible to be closed to the public.
So they opened a restaurant with the same peaceful, natural ambience with a sophisticated design of a gallery. So there’s the best of both worlds.
This culinary gem, with excellent Western food and an incredible natural environment, is tucked away inside lush green woods – you might even forget that you’re not in an actual jungle!
Among all the high-quality steak it offers, the recommended choice is to start with ebony steak, a toothsome tenderloin with luscious mushroom sauce topped with onion rings.

Welcome to your dream deck house.
It’s not hard to point out this place from afar with its bizarre exterior.
Once you’re done admiring the stylish triangle-ish shaped building, you’ll be greeted by its homey interior, with a backdrop of tall green trees and mountains.
With that much of an excellent taste, there’s more to come in Salse’s neighborhood.
Salse is actually a part of a resort complex with eight upcoming unique villas, a spa and an amphitheater tucked away in the woods.

Kopi Selasar is part of Selasar Sunaryo, a highly artistic place with an edgy exterior and an interior decked out in a multitude of artwork.
The cafe area is just as artsy as the rest of this complex, and even more, if you would consider good coffee as an art.
And of course, you can see rolling green hills from where you sip that artwork. Try some snacks to go with your choice of coffee.

Yes, you’ve read correctly.
Here’s a treehouse – the one in every child’s dream.
Better yet for all parents – it’s a treehouse with a cafe where you can sit down and relax in a cosy corner, either indoors or outdoors, while the kids are kept perfectly safe, busy, and happy, clamouring around their actual tree house.
This cafe even has a mini flying fox, so don’t worry if your hyperactive kids are bored by the treehouse!
Here, the specialty meal is also a kid’s favourite – sausages. Parents will approve of it too, as they are healthy homemade sausages with no artificial flavoring – just like this Big Banger Sausage (30cm long!), which is served with vegetables.

At the Stone Cafe, you’ll forget you’re actually in the city.
You get to dine in a village ambience, with bamboo decor in gazebos and a lot of stones, thus the name.
At 8pm, there’s also a live music performance to relax or even jam to.
The place serves desirable traditional and European foods with no artificial food flavouring. And one of the must-tries is the combo barbecue, a complete combination of sirloin, snapper fish and shrimp with special Stone Cafe sauce.

This spacious, mostly outdoor dining area is an integrated part of a whole pack of fun for kids, or anyone who just wants a playful moment.
Let’s say the fun starts with a vast strawberry farm, where you can bring home the best little red fresh fruit that you hand-picked.
And there’s this whimsical playground. Your kids would appreciate the outdoor time!
But don’t forget what you came here for (part of the reason, at least) – the food. With its specialty of traditional, Western and Asian food, both you and your little one wouldn’t mind leaving that playground. For a while.
If you visit with a group, try Paket Nasi Liwet Komplit for 4 persons, a traditional classic complete with various side dishes, vegetables, and special condiments.

There’s nothing you can’t do in Bandung – dining in the middle of the woods, up in the mountains, and now by the waters.
It’s an unforgettable dining experience with the lake view, different from the usual mountainous scenery of Bandung.
As for the food, the place serves finger-licking traditional snacks and meals, fresh from the canoe.
This Sate Buntel Sapi from Kedai Boentel, with its special taste and tender meat, is visitors’ all-time favourite. You can even bring your meal up the boat and have a nice float!
Off the boats and on the ground, this place also offers lots of attractions like animal farms, where you and your little ones can feed rabbits, ducks, swans, and fish.
