16-c. Over the mountains and the trees – Burangrang

Burangrang is is the biggest cafe at Dusun Bambu. It’s located among the taller hills at the resort, which gives customers a clear view of the Burangrang mountain (hence the name!).

With its glass walls, you will be able to enjoy panoramic views of the cafe’s surroundings.

Don’t leave without trying one of its specials – the betutu grilled chicken.

16. Hummingbird heartbeat

True to its name, every aspect of Hummingbird cafe is dedicated to make you feel like a free, exquisite bird.

Let’s start with the outside, which has a giant bird cage-like exterior.

17. Almost a doll’s house – Nanny Pavillon Home

One of the newest unique themed restaurants in the block in Bandung (though it already has many branches in other Indonesian cities), the interior of Nanny Pavillon is a sweet eye candy with its pretty furniture and cute interior.

Here, you can choose which ‘room’ you want to dine in – be it the Dining Room, Bedroom, Garden, Playroom, or even the Bathroom (yes, and your seats are toilet seats)!

As the concept stems from the owner’s belief in family gatherings and cosy treats, you will expect nothing but amicable service here, making you feel right at home.

Stepping in to Warung Suluh is like stepping out of a time machine. Not to a scary pre-historic era or a futuristic future, but to a time that’s just right for nostalgia.

This restaurant was originally a woodcraft gallery too incredible to be closed to the public.

So they opened a restaurant with the same peaceful, natural ambience with a sophisticated design of a gallery. So there’s the best of both worlds.

This culinary gem, with excellent Western food and an incredible natural environment, is tucked away inside lush green woods – you might even forget that you’re not in an actual jungle!

Among all the high-quality steak it offers, the recommended choice is to start with ebony steak, a toothsome tenderloin with luscious mushroom sauce topped with onion rings.

22. Bizarre yet homey in Warung Salse

Welcome to your dream deck house.

It’s not hard to point out this place from afar with its bizarre exterior.

Once you’re done admiring the stylish triangle-ish shaped building, you’ll be greeted by its homey interior, with a backdrop of tall green trees and mountains.

With that much of an excellent taste, there’s more to come in Salse’s neighborhood.

Salse is actually a part of a resort complex with eight upcoming unique villas, a spa and an amphitheater tucked away in the woods.

23. Atmosphere – Romantic in Bali

True to its name, atmosphere is not the only exceptional thing you can enjoy in this Balinese-themed restaurant.

This restaurant’s design is inspired by Bali’s natural richness and topped with cozy gazebos, a fish pond and an indoor dining area with polished wood furniture and candles.

Kopi Selasar is part of Selasar Sunaryo, a highly artistic place with an edgy exterior and an interior decked out in a multitude of artwork.

25. Kids’ dreams come true at Treehouse Cafe

Yes, you’ve read correctly.

Here’s a treehouse – the one in every child’s dream.

Better yet for all parents – it’s a treehouse with a cafe where you can sit down and relax in a cosy corner, either indoors or outdoors, while the kids are kept perfectly safe, busy, and happy, clamouring around their actual tree house.

This cafe even has a mini flying fox, so don’t worry if your hyperactive kids are bored by the treehouse!

Here, the specialty meal is also a kid’s favourite – sausages. Parents will approve of it too, as they are healthy homemade sausages with no artificial flavoring – just like this Big Banger Sausage (30cm long!), which is served with vegetables.

Located in the hip neighborhood of cool cafes with great ambience and an astonishing city view from the heights, Cocorico is an outstanding choice to enjoy food, view, and overall, Bandung.

At the Stone Cafe, you’ll forget you’re actually in the city.

This spacious, mostly outdoor dining area is an integrated part of a whole pack of fun for kids, or anyone who just wants a playful moment.

29. Waterfront Dining at Floating Market Lembang

There’s nothing you can’t do in Bandung – dining in the middle of the woods, up in the mountains, and now by the waters.
