1. A 56-meter-long water slide, I repeat… – Bali Dynasty Resort

SPONSORED

Parents, we know – holidaying with the little ones can be a lot of work! So it’s simply sublime when you come across a family-oriented resort that offers so much for all family members.

Case in point: Bali Dynasty Resort!

An exciting array of daily kids’ activities (from arts and crafts to kids yoga, Balinese costume dress-ups, limbo contests, card games, Indonesian lessons, indoor games… the list goes on and on)? CHECK! This is headed up by the complimentary Kids Club — double bonus.

An impressive outdoor playground? CHECK! Nothing beats the thrill of zooming down a 56-metre-long water slide. Just ask your kids! Here, there’s also a special kids-only pool as well as a Kids Water Fun Zone.

A Gamers Room (with the latest VR, PlayStation 5 and XBOX) to keep your teens happy? CHECK! Or how about a special zone for teeny tots below four years old? You bet and CHECK, just head to the resort’s Pupa Toddler Room.

Why is it that children love bunk beds so much? Matching the on-site facilities are the numerous family rooms. The Family Studio sleeps five members; equipped with a bunk bed, trundle bed and a king-sized bed.

There’s also the four-sleeper Family Garden View option on the ground floor and a Family Lagoon Pool Access option if you’re a household of water babies. The funky ground-floor Kids Suite sleeps five and opens out to a garden.

Ever had to deal with a hangry child? Not fun! Keeping stomachs happy are a multitude of different restaurants, including the Italian-inspired Café Piazza for a super cute Afternoon Tea and the Golden Lotus with its All You Can Eat Dim Sum option (every Sunday from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm). Celebrating all there is to love about Chinese cuisine, the red and gold-accented interiors, rich woods and the artfully illustrated mural match in authenticity. Feast from the a la carte menu while lanterns dangle above you, with seafood, barbeque and roast options, too.

If you plan on spending over a week at Bali Dynasty, consider signing up for the Golden Lotus’ Silver Chopstick Membership programme and enjoy some scrumptious savings.

In need of a date night or day without the kids? Book the babysitting service and head to the recently renovated, open-air H20 Restaurant, Gracie Kelly’s Irish Pub, or Oasis Rooftop for romantic sunset cocktails.

You’ll never want to leave…And that includes every single member of the fam. Clearly, Bali Dynasty Resort understands when it comes to travelling with the whole family!

2. Your perfect vacation soundtrack: Hard Rock Hotel Bali

Let’s get the party started at Hard Rock Hotel Bali! All the little and big rockers rush to the paradise of music, fun and family parties where everyone becomes a rock star!

Photo Via Mattloves
Photo Via Indi_pindi, Sunita.gill_

To get access to all the fun activities such as rockwall climbing challenge, your young ones have to join the Roxity Kids Club for the special adventures. Take part in the Kids Olympics and maybe you’ll bring a medal home with you!

For the tired parents, get that well-deserved rest on the Sand Island, surrounded by the largest free-form swimming pool in Bali. Find shelter in the cabanas, order food and refreshments from Splash Bistro and enjoy it under the shade with your feet cooling off in the pool.

Meanwhile, you can watch your kids go down the waterslide ecstatically, splashing into a supervised, child-safe pool. They would love walking on the water in a giant zorbing ball and other pool activities!

For lunch, we recommend Starz Diner with indoor and outdoor seating and serves international cuisine. Kids who are members of Roxity Kids Club can have lunch for free!

Photo Via TripCanvas, Krisnaprayudhi

And this has to be the favourite part for every child (or child-at-heart) – ultimate foam party, held every Saturday at 4pm! Have a family foam fight and see who gets lost under the foam as first!

Your littlest babies (kids under four years old) can now have their fair share of fun at the newly opened Lullaby Playroom, but they must be accompanied by an adult. The playroom is located within the TABU Teens Club — an epic space with a private cinema, Play Station 5, Xbox One and Wii U facilities, and a gaming lounge. Any kids under 13 years require adult supervision while hanging out at TABU.

After that long day of excitement, retire for the night at the Roxity Family Suite, which is piled full of children’s entertainment such as PlayStation 4. Teenagers can even rent a guitar and take TV guitar lessons or become DJs with a rented mixer and iPad!

3. No matter your age or who you travel with, let everything be taken care of – Padma Resort Legian

Travelling with kids can be quite a hassle, it becomes even more of a challenge if you’re travelling with various people of different ages! You need to make sure to find rooms that will accommodate everyone (or at least interconnecting rooms), and preferably have lots of activities for the little ones.

Photo Via Littlebalilove

Beyond that though, you need to find a resort which will allow you and the rest of your crew to enjoy yourselves as well!

Located just a stone’s throw away from the beach, and incredibly close to the airport, Padma Resort Legian isn’t lacking in all things sun, sand and sea.

Their best feature though? The swimming pool, or should I say ‘pools’! Decked out with five different pools, you could easily spend the whole day hopping in and out from one to another!

While the main pool is the perfect place for the family to base themselves, the lagoon pool is great for transporting yourself to a tropical paradise! The family pool will be the apple of all the kiddo’s eyes, featuring multiple slides, and a colourful mushroom fountain for endless fun!

Photo Via Kirstylee113, Rollingalongwithkid, _pineapple_beach

For those who are a little older and looking to get away from all the commotion that the little ones cause, there’s an adults-only infinity pool which serves as the ultimate sunset location.

Photo Via Neonlulu, Cailinandtaylorsadventures, Ezfirns

Relax by the swim-up bar with one of Padma Legian’s giant martinis in hand as the lowering sun makes the waves glitter around you! Don’t worry about letting the cocktails flow too much, your little ones will be safe and sound at the kids club.

For in-house guests aged 4 – 12 years old, their Wolly Kids Club provides supervised indoor and outdoor spaces to play, interact, and relax. Supervised activities like arts and crafts, Fun Yoga, Balinese Dancing, Towel Origami, Duck feeding, Turtle Feeding, Fish Feeding, Canang sari Decoration, Paper origami, and Bingo Games are on the program.

Photo Via Mrssharena, Jen-McNab

And when it comes to food, Padma Legian doesn’t exclude either; whatever your dietary needs they’ll accommodate! They even provide gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options or any other dietary requirement you might have. If you’re feeling a bit more creative, make your own sandwich or salad in the Deli where they cater your meal completely to your liking!

Probably most essential, you also get to enjoy a departure lounge that welcomes guests for free – an absolute comfort when you have a late-night flight and need of a shower and rest after having explored the last bits of Bali!

FuramaXclusive Ocean Beach Seminyak lets you enjoy this hip beach town – it is family-friendly like no other!

Now, of course, one of the best features of this place is the pool. Meandering through the different buildings, it almost feels as though you’re swimming in the canals of Venice!

RIMBA and AYANA are two incredible resorts, which only become even more impressive when you realise that each one gives access to the other (perfect considering they are right next door to each other!).
