Apart from this standout feature, the children’s water playground and pool features a fun slide, too. In total, discover four pools within the resort’s grounds, but this area is where the little ones will want to spend most of their time – obviously!

RIMBA is part of an incredible resort property – which only becomes even more impressive when you realise that you have access to the other three property facilities when staying at jungle-esque RIMBA.

It’s really the pools though that take the stage…RIMBA’s lower pool hides a bright green water slide, and when your kids go on it, they’ll exit to a cascading waterfall giving the illusion that they’re in a different realm! Their famed kids’ club, RIMBA Jungle Adventure? Hidden through a secret entrance via one of the poolside cabanas, merely a stone’s throw away from the slide!

Besides, the resort comes with expansive gardens to explore, an absolutely gorgeous tea lounge covered from top to bottom with orchids, and spectacular sunken lounges to watch mesmerising sunsets from. In fact, there’s really no reason why you wouldn’t want to stay here the whole day.

So while there are big plus points for solo travellers, couples, and people looking to have a good time, what’s in it for those with families?

17. All Kids Aboard the Fun-ship – Movenpick Resort and Spa Jimbaran

At Movenpick Resort and Spa Jimbaran, besides its luxury rooms and amenities, the children are kept in mind – toddlers to teenagers alike!

In total, this property has 4 outdoor pools altogether. One of which is a children’s pool complete with waterslides and fun water features. They also have an artificial beach pool for you to have a “beachy vibes” in the middle of Jimbaran!

Their children’s pool is actually connected to their kids’ club! This is so that children would enjoy an “indoor and outdoor” playground feel.

Its kids’ club, also known as Meera Kids Club, is a fun pirate-themed club that the little ones love. Taking up a two-storey area, the first floor is meant for toddlers and younger children. Complete with indoor playground, trampoline and ball pit, your kids will get excited the moment they step in!

The second floor is where the pre-teens hang out. Movenpick has crafted a cosy environment for them with console games and comfortable bean bags for them to socialise and have fun!

They also have interactive activities for families such as yoga, aerobics, arts and crafts, painting, jewellery making and dressing up in Balinese dresses!

Some activities are free while some require a fee to join. The resort has recently introduced its global Family Programme, and these activities are all-inclusive when signing up, along with some other exciting ones like ice-cream sandwich-making (yummy and perfect for those sweltering hot days). These projects are awesome for the little ones wanting to take a break from all the swimming or outdoor fun!

18. Affordable, and never-ending family fun – Prime Plaza Suites Sanur

Prime Plaza Suites Sanur provides a convenient stay with their Family Style Apartments at really affordable rates – and it also packs a little extra fun into your stay with its family-friendly environment and facilities.

Most importantly, the specially-made shaded pool for kids and 30-metre-long slide are exciting for kids to spend hours at, and the little ones get their own waddle pool!
