1. A culturally-enriching experience that the entire family will fall in love with – AYANA Resort Bali
SPONSORED
Bali is one of those destinations that has an air of magic about it…It’s half the reason why so many flock to the Island of the Gods. Instead of staying at a resort that could be just about anywhere in the world, opt for one of the most authentic family-friendly options, oozing all things Balinese culture and traditions at AYANA Resort Bali.
With the sea never far from sight, the AYANA Ocean Adventure is aptly themed, and your little ones will love it here. Equipped with indoor slides, soft play areas and even a ball pit, the club is split into various zones. Daily activities are offered for kids, so minds and hands are kept busy and active!
Areas like the climbing cove and interactive puzzles are at the indoor Cerulean (ages 4-7). The other indoor section, Sandscape is a play zone for kiddies up to 10 years old. For some outdoor air, bring your bathing suits and explore Coralight with its two splash pools and slides (only for ages 5 and above, no taller than 1.4m).
Over at RIMBA, there’s another kids club: RIMBA Jungle Adventure, which is open to all guests staying at AYANA Bali, with indoor and outdoor children’s facilities as well.
If you’re not keen on them spending all day playing, consider one of the day camps, both of which centre around all things nature and Balinese culture. The Montessori-inspired Guidepost Bali Camp is for children aged 3 to 6. For the older ones (ages 7 to 12), the Green Camp AYANA is a similar outdoor adventure. Part of its activities take place within a Tree House (how cool?) as well as within the Tevana Garden.
Adding to the family-friendly vibes, join a cooking class, get involved in a fun Balinese dress-up session, or learn the art of Canang-making (temple visit included).
Apart from the kids facilities, we especially love that this resort offers other cultural experiences, which are both insightful but also interesting for all ages. For example, dive into the lay of the land at AYANA Farm (guided tours available), or get mesmerised by the larger-than-life expos at the on-site SAKA Museum. Steeped around Balinese mythology, join one of the cultural programs here or a museum trail hunt where you have to follow a bunch of exciting clues!
Located in Jimbaran, AYANA Resort Bali forms part of AYANA Bali – an integrated resort destination comprising four distinctive properties, each uniquely designed to cater to different needs: AYANA Resort Bali, RIMBA by AYANA Bali, AYANA Villas Bali and AYANA Segara Bali.
