Located in AYANA Midplaza Jakarta, JimBARan Lounge invites you to *almost* literally sail through a hearty feast.
This river-themed restaurant will transport you to an oasis not unlike those riverside dining spots one can find in tranquil Ubud.
As we all know, Jakarta can get pretty hectic and fast-paced. Those looking to slow down and catch a breather, will find this a wonderful spot to steal away to and have a luxuriously relaxing night.
Offering Western and Intercontinental cuisines, take a seat in any of the lovely lounges and start placing your order.

Some love it, and some hate it – but we can’t deny that this particular cute cat is a force to be reckoned with. Just look at all the merchandise Sanrio has come up with for Hello Kitty fanatics lovers.
In any article about themed cafes, you’re almost sure to find a Hello Kitty Cafe, and this one’s no different. For the Hello Kitty lovers in Jakarta, or visiting, you won’t want to miss this Hello Kitty Cafe.
Opened recently in May 2016, the cafe serves up treats such as delectable Kitty Sliders (Read: mini burgers), and naturally, more Hello Kitty-themed eats.

With the slogan “We are not your usual javanese diner serving the common javanese cuisine.” – you know Mbah Jingkrak definitely has something exciting in store for you.
This unique restaurant blends traditional Javanese cuisine with a twist, with eccentric playground-type decor. There are balloons and kites strewn around the garden, and colourful ball pit balls floating in the pool, along with vintage Javanese decor.

Decor aside, the authentic Indonesian cuisine available here will satisfy your cravings for some good old Nasi Bakar, Ayam Grandong, and Bebek Galau.
Chicken, duck, beef, fish, vegetables, sambals and so much more, you are guaranteed to go home belly happy at the end of the day.
Just make sure to snap some photos of the really interesting decor around every corner of the restaurant!
5. Dine in a library, bedroom, or barn? It’s entirely up to you – Nanny’s Pavilion
A French-American family-themed restaurant, Nanny’s Pavilion was originally established in Bandung.
It’s warm, cosy and intimate with the vibes of being home. “You’re Here, You’re Family” is the simple and heartwarming slogan, and we quite agree!
The menu at Nanny’s Pavilion is crafted around a family’s traditional meals with dishes like Nanny’s Chicken Salad, Ynez’s Blueberry Cheese Roll Pancake, Kimberly’s Green Sausage Pasta, and Auntie’s Sausage Baked Rice.
The most interesting thing about this restaurant, is the outlet you choose to dine at.
Each outlet has different settings, so you can choose the one you feel most comfortable in. Whether it’s the bedroom at Cinere Bellevue Mall, or playroom at Kota Kasablanka, and even the music room at Mall Cipinang Indah – it’s totally up to you!

Pull up a chair and have a seat at Bottega Ristorante. While not in any way affiliated with Bottega Veneta (that luxurious brand with the gorgeous designer products), Bottega makes a great place to engage in some retail nature therapy.

Order up a dish or two off the Western-influenced menu, and dig into Truffle Mac & Cheese, Penne Arrabiatta, or Braised Pork Belly – there are a lot of comfortable favourites available here.
What this means is that you’ll get to dig into familiar comfort food, while you relax in Bottega’s soothing surroundings!
