19. Be transported into Tokyo’s vibrant nightlife – KANPAI!

KANPAI! is currently closed for renovations. We will update this space when this restaurant has reopened.

Why go to Tokyo when KANPAI! can bring Tokyo right to your doorstep?

The newest kid on the block at Pantai Indah Kapuk, KANPAI! is probably one of the most raved-about eateries in town that actually manages to bring the vibrant Kyoto-style nightlife to Jakarta!

Settle back in a cool, dark atmosphere lit up by flashy neon lights as you watch the chef display his stunning culinary skills from the open kitchen. Here, you can even enjoy the illusion of outdoor dining (without feeling the heat!), thanks to the little green canopy above the kitchen.

We almost feel like this restaurant should be named ‘Say Cheese!’ instead, since every single spot here is just so photogenic. Don’t forget to check out the restaurant’s signature spot, where they have recreated Kyoto’s Fox Shrine with dozens of red poles covered in Kanji letters. KANPAI!’s dedication to recreating Japanese wonders in a bar is really outstanding!

We recommend that you visit the bar after nightfall, since this is when the nightlife starts to heat up. Remember, the only rule here is no rules – so bring out your best swagger and snap away!
